OpenROAD welcomes Tom Spyrou as chief architect and technical project manager

We are very happy to announce that Tom Spyrou has joined the OpenROAD project full-time as chief architect and technical project manager. Tom is a well-known EDA system architect who led the first OpenAccess database, PrimeTime, and numerous other landmark development projects in the industry. He was most recently a Senior Principal Engineer in Intel’s Programmable Solutions business unit. Tom joins EDA industry veterans Lukas van Ginneken and James Cherry on the OpenROAD team.
